About Zara Gems

A wholesale gemstone business built where the craft began, Khambhat, India.

How Zara Gems started

Zara Gems began in Khambhat, a town where gemstone cutting has been a way of life for generations, long before it became a business for us. What started as working closely with local artisans grew into a wholesale supply business, serving retailers and resellers who wanted the same quality without going through several layers of middlemen.

Today we supply crystal bracelets, pyramids, healing tools and gemstone decor to businesses across more than 40 countries. But the way we work hasn’t changed much. We still deal directly with the workshops doing the cutting and polishing, and we still check every batch ourselves before it ships.

Sourced from Khambhat, India’s oldest gemstone town

Khambhat has been cutting and polishing agate for thousands of years, tracing back to the Indus Valley civilisation. Most of the work here is still done by hand, the way it’s been passed down through families, not out of a training manual.

When you order from us, you’re buying straight from the town where this craft was practically invented, not from a middleman reselling stock from somewhere else.

Factory direct, checked before it ships

Every order goes through the same process. We work directly with the artisans, check the stock ourselves for consistency and quality, and pack it properly for the distance it needs to travel. Whether you’re ordering fifty pieces or five thousand, the process doesn’t change.

We keep MOQs low enough for smaller businesses to get started, and we handle export documentation so international orders move through customs without unnecessary delays.
